AWIS-SD 2021 UCSD Extension Scholarship Winner
is currently a first-year master's student in Biochemistry at California State University-San Marcos. Her master research focuses on developing methods using Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC MS/MS) to analyze female bear urine. The study gives biologists insightful information which ultimately will support black bear conservation. Her research interest includes but not limited to analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, and food chemistry. Quynh graduated from CSUSM in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. In her free time, Quynh enjoys baking with her children.
